This duo opts for a repertoire that draws mainly on traditional Mallorcan music. A tribute to the music that has accompanied them in their development as artists until now, as well as their roots. It is one of the proposals of the 26è Mallorca Jazz sa Pobla.
Júlia Colom came into contact with music from a young age through different disciplines until at the age of fifteen she discovered her passion: singing as a soloist driven by jazz. She has performed outside of Spain on stages in New York, Portugal, India, Berlin and France.
For his part, Toni Vaquer is a composer, arranger and pianist, with several awards accumulated such as the first prize in the I and IV Palma Jazz Contest or the Duke Ellington Prize for Jazz Composition at Berklee (2017).
Half of the proceeds from the tickets will go to the Associació Pa i Mel to help with the purchase of food. Tickets can only be purchased online.
