Santiago Auserón, aka Juan Perro, presents his album El viaje (2016) acoustically. A collection of songs where the African-American heritage (blues, R&B, rock, soul, jazz standards) integrates more and more naturally with the Afro-Latin tradition -mainly Cuban- and with the music of Iberia.
From the song that opens the album, Los inadaptados (inspired by the last Marilyn Monroe film, The Misfits, released in Spain as Vidas rebeldes) with which Auserón remembers the last breaths of the 20th century, to the song that closes and gives its title to the album, it covers a wide range of styles.
The concert is held within the framework of Fila U, the Festival d'Estiu del Teatre Principal de Palma.
