The tenor Josep Carreras, one of the greatest exponents of world lyric, participates in the Port Adriano Music Festival accompanied by soprano Sabina Puértolas and the Orchestra Arts Symphony Ensemble, directed by David Giménez.
Since his debut in 1970 at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona with Nabuco and Lucrecia Borgia, Carreras' meteoric career has led him to perform in the most important theaters and festivals in the world and collaborate with prestigious conductors such as Herbert von Karajan, Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Muti, Lorin Maazel, Leonard Bernestein and Zubin Mehta, among others.
His extensive discography includes more than a hundred and fifty recordings, among which fifty complete operas, oratorios and classical recitals, as well as popular music.
