The last production of the flutist-saxophonist Jorge Pardo and the double bass player and composer Toni Cuenca is called Ánima flamenca. An orchestral work inspired by flamenco-jazz and fusion music that they now present at the I Festival Jazz Palma with the accompaniment of Es Gremi Jazz Orchestra.
Jorge Pardo is considered one of the best European jazz musicians. In 2013 he received the award for Best European Jazz Musician, becoming the first Spanish recognized with the prize of the French Academy of Jazz, and in 2015 the National Prize for Current Music.
Both the concert, and the four rehearsals they will perform previously, will be recorded and will lead to the publication of an album shared with the Escola de Música Es Gremi.
