Jordi Pujol (Barcelona, 1930) was president of the Generalitat of Catalonia for 23 consecutive years (1980 to 2003), thereafter leaving the political forefront.
In 2007 he began his memoirs, publishing after a year the first volume covering from 1930 to 1980. In 2009 came the second (1980 to 1993) and he has recently published the third volume of his Memòries (1993-2011), which is now presented invited by the Obra Cultural Balear.
