This Polish pianist opens the Summer Concerts at the Palau March. Joanna Trzeciak began her training at age seven with Zbigniew Drzewiecki, later she graduated from the Warsaw Conservatory and in 1977 was chosen by the Polish Ministry of Culture for classes at the Moscow Conservatory by Professor Lev Vlasenko. Currently, Trzeciak is artistic director of the Association Chopin of Flanders and the Festival Pianotune.
She participates in the White and Black Series performing works by Beethoven and Chopin. The concert is held in memory of Almudena Cano (Madrid, 1951-2006), prestigious pianist and pedagogue of international recognition.
