Joan Miquel Oliver, 'Elektra'

With Elektra (2018), Joan Miquel Oliver closes the trilogy which he started with  painter Albert Pinya with Pegassus (2015) and continued with Atlantis (2017). JMO now presents live its new album at the Auditori de Porreres.

The most obvious difference with respect to the previous albums is the incorporation into study of the two musicians who have accompanied Joan Miquel Oliver without interruption in the tours undertaken between 2015 and 2018, where the transformation of the electronic material registered in rigorous solitaire becomes the stage in an electric sound in which improvisation, after 150 concerts together, takes on a special role.

Jaume Manresa on keyboards and Xarli Oliver on drums not only participate as instrumentalists, but they sign with Joan Miquel Oliver (vocals, guitar and bass) the musical production of this new work.
