Within the sphere of the cycle Sent el Patrimoni, IV Temporada d'Arts Escèniques i Musicals, will be offered a concert by Joan Chamorro & Andrea Motis with the Glissando Big Band. Joan Chamorro presents us on stage the very young Andrea Motis, one of the latest revelations of jazz. With only 16, this singer, trumpeter and saxophonist has recorded three albums and has participated already in more than a hundred festivals of jazz, from the hand of the bassist and director of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, the youngest group of jazz in Europe and of which Motis forms part .
In this premiere they are accompanied by the Glissando Big Band, a formation formed by 18 young musicians with extensive experience. Their repertoire includes all styles of jazz, from swing and traditional jazz to latin-jazz, fusion or funk.
