Jazz Day Mallorca 2014

Mallorca adds another year to the celebration of International Jazz Day, proclaimed by UNESCO in November 2011 and held every April 30. The program began on Saturday 26 with a concert by Victor Uris Quartet presenting his new album at the Teatre Mar i Terra.

Today, International Jazz Day, various activities are planned in different areas of Palma:
11:30 h. S'Hort del Rei. Municipal Band of Palma. Mallorca Swing into Spring.
12:00 h. Auditorium Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands. Conservatory Big Band.
19:00 h. The Courtyard of the Cultural Centre La Misericòrdia. Literature and Jazz. The Jazz Fingers and actors of the School of Dramatic Art de les Illes Balears.
21:00 h. Auditorium Sa Nostra Cultural Centre. Small Jazz Band with Irene Segarra.
