Accompanied on guitar by Idoia Zabaleta, Javiera de la Fuente dances and sings in this hybrid project that aims to sing part of the poetic, sonorous and performative legacy of the Chilean singer Violeta Parra. It is one of the proposals of the PalmaDansa 2024 festival.
Envioletá / Un estudio rescues a hidden and initiatory stage in which Violeta immerses herself in the world of Andalusian popular song, the Spanish genre that toured Latin America in the 40s and 50s. Envioletá is a series of states of contradiction, a way of doing and being that drinks and stays in Violeta Parra and flamenco, interchangeably.
