Two great Mallorcan musicians in the Castell de Bellver within the cycle Cançons de la Mediterrània. Guitarist Jaume Tugores (Palma, 1974) has published his latest work El sonido italiano en el cine (The Italian sound in cinema), a tribute to Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota and Nicola Piovani. He has also made inroads in other performing arts, composing music for dance and songs for theatre.
Meanwhile, Jaume Compte is an experienced musician who does not hide his Balkan influences, either on guitar or lute. With his group Nafas Ensemble he published in 2011 Tariq, confirming himself as a great value of national instrumental music, and in 2013 VADO.
