Jaume Reus - musician, producer and environmentalologist- and Laia Malo - poet, translator and musician- form Jansky, the duo created in Mallorca in 2011 with a style that they define as organic electroversia with digital electronic music. They present their new project Insecta Dance Music, based on the ecology of the soundscape of Mallorca.
Insecta Dance Music is a work based on the sound of the insects of Mallorca. One of the tracks, The fable of the bat and the moth, recorded in s'Albufera and processed at Rampa Studios in Palma, has been awarded at the Sound of the Year Awards 2021 with the prize for the best sound recorded in a study. These awards are organized by The Museum of Sound and The New BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
The concert is part of the program of performances that Palma City Council organizes on the occasion of the European Day of Music, celebrated on June 21.
