New concert of the VII International Festival of Ancient Music of Caimari. The event is with the duo formed by Isabelle Lagors (harp) and Christian Ott (Harpsichord), a group that is characterized by the originality of its formation and repertoire.
Isabelle Lagors (Bordeaux in 1971) won the First National Harp Prize and two Chamber Music Awards at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris. Holder of the certificate of aptitude harp, she is currently professor at the National Conservatory of Cergy-Pontoise.
For his part, Christian Ott (Nancy, 1968) won First Prizes for harpsichord, continuous bass and organ also in the Conservatory of Paris and in 1990 won the First Prize of the International Competition of Bordeaux. Head of the certificate of aptitude of organs and musicology, he is professor of organ at the Municipal conservatories XV and XIII of Paris, composer and co-titular organist of the great historical organ of the cathedral of Versailles.
As a duet they revive works of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries that have fallen into oblivion and have recorded nine albums. The Latest Ave Maria, with the soprano Lucie Fouquet.
