The young saxophonist Irene Reig (Barcelona, 1993) is one of the most outstanding representatives of the new Catalan generation of jazz musicians. Mira is her new album recorded as a trio, which they now present at the 2022 Palma Jazz Festival.
Mira (2021), recorded at the Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum (The Netherlands) and released by his record label The Changes, consists almost entirely of a repertoire of his own compositions, as well as innovative arrangements ranging from jazz to swing
The trio is formed by Irene Reig (alto sax), Pau Sala (double bass) and Joan Casares (drums).
