Monologue of Joan Guasp based on the last hour of life of the Ukrainian Jewish writer Irène Nemirovsky (1903-1942) who died in the Nazi death camp of Auschwitz.
Mixing reality and fiction, the protagonist recalls details of her life, including experiences of the Nazi camp, but also her literary vocation and, most especially, all that surrounded the writing of her short novel The dance, a true jewel of Universal literature.
Irene Nemirovsky, Premi Recull 2007, is directed by Antoni Rosselló and interpreted by Catalina Ferrer.
