People around the world are coming up with innovative designs to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations of our planet. This exhibition presents some of the most revolutionary inventions applied to countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
The Bicimáquina , the incubator Embrace, Desert Fridge and the wheelchair Mekong are some of the objects displayed . They all gather some common characteristics: they solve basic needs , benefit vulnerable people , are environmentally friendly and are adapted to the cultural, economic and social reality of where they provide service.
Inventions . Ideas that change lives is curated by José María Medina , director of Prosalus , an NGO for development cooperation in Africa and Latin America.
