La Associació d'Amics del Poble Sahrauí de les Illes Balears (AAPSIB) organizes the third edition of Música pel Sàhara, a concert of solidarity for the benefit of Sahrawi refugee children.
This year's concert is titled Unidos por las estrellas (united by the Stars) and is run by students and teachers of the School DospuntDos , under the direction of Margarita Yern Pomar and with the collaboration of professional artists of music and dance. During the concert, a Saharawi refugee girl will talk about her experience on the first trip to Mallorca with the Holiday in Peace Program.
Lyric and romantic songs, contemporary and modern choreography and a touch of soul music will be part of the repertoire offered by this show in the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza. The event will also serve to spread the program Vacaciones en Paz ( Holidays in Peace), organized by AAPSIB.
