The Cultural Association Flamenco en Red Balear organizes this Flamenco Festival 'Ciutat de Palma' held at the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza. It offers a double program with performances by Fronterazul and Silvia Fernández 'La Chispa' group.
Fronterazul serves as an experimental laboratory for musicians of flamenco / jazz collaborating looking for a unique sound. The group is influenced especially by flamenco, but transforming it and giving it a more modern touch using standard jazz, groove and funk, but without losing its roots.
In this concert will participate Manuel Carmona (guitar), Samuel García (violin and trumpet) and José Murcia (percussion), with three special guests: Pep Lluís García (percussion), Omar Lanuti (guitar) and Damaris Sanchez 'Dama' (Cante) .
Meanwhile, dancer Silvia Fernández 'Chispa' performs accompanied by her usual collaborators: Ika Bautista (dance), José Cortés (guitar), Miguel Cano (vocals), José Murcia (percussion), Guille Sans and Juanki Montero (palms jaleos and chorus).
