Ukrainian pianist Andrey Yaroshinsky opens the third edition of the Beethoven Festival with this recital which includes works by Beethoven, Brahms and Rachmanov.
Andrey Yaroshinsky (Kiev, 1986) has been awarded in numerous international competitions and has a large presence in festivals such as the Chopin Festival in Wroclaw (Poland). In 2015 he was appointed president of the Association of Young Musicians of Russia.
The program consists of Sonata nº 26 op. 81a 'Les Adieux', by L. van Beethoven; Prelude, Gavotte and Giga de Sonata for violin solo in my major, by Bach-Rachmaninov; Variations on a theme by Corelli op. 42, by S. Rachmaninov; and Sonata in F minor nº 3 op. 5, J. Brahms.
The Festival is organized by the Concert Society of Palma de Mallorca, Obra Social and BMN.
