II Marathon of creative recycling of clothes

The Cultural Centre La Misericordia hosts the second edition of this curious marathon. Its aim is to encourage imagination from pieces of clothing from selective collection.

For nine hours, participants, with their sewing machines, will have to design and create their garments and a jury will choose the three awardees. The first prize is worth 600 euros, the second 300 euros and the third with a night in one of the shelters of the Consell de Mallorca for six persons.

This marathon is sponsored by the Foundation Deixalles and the School of Design of the Balearic Islands, and has the support of the Consell de Mallorca
