The Concert Society of Palma organizes this festival around the music of Ludwig van Beethoven (Bonn, Germany, 1770-Vienna, Austria, 1827), considered the last great representative of Viennese classicism.
This II Beethoven Festival consists of a lecture and four concerts with sonatas for violin and piano by the German composer, three of them performed by the duo Losada & Quirós (formed by José Manuel Álvarez Losada, violin, and Enrique Bernaldo Quirós, piano) and the last by pianist Javier Negrin.
