The associations Arrels and Amunt Avall organize the first Pa amb Oli contest of Mancor de la Vall, which is part of a series of events to spread Balearic gastronomy. Its main purpose is to promote this typical dish of the Balearic Islands whose ingredients are bread and oil.
The contestants will have 20 minutes to prepare the dish, and the jury will take into account the presentation, the use of the materials contributed by the organization, the difficulty in its preparation, taste and aroma, texture and originality and creativity of the dish. There will be cash prizes: first prize: € 90; second prize: € 60; and third prize: € 30.
The evening will be enlivened with the live performance of Jaume Garau.
