Arianna Savall (Gothic harp triple harp and Tibetan bowl) daughter of Catalan musicians created this group along with her partner Petter U. Johansen (tenor, hardingfele and mandolin) in 2009. They perform accompanied by contrabass Miquel Àngel Cordero. The ensemble specializes in early music, from medieval to Baroque and also own creations. She presents Cants del Sud i el Nord (Songs of the South and North).
She has participated in numerous harp festivals in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Turkey and the Czech Republic. This performance is part of the cycle Cançons de la Mediterrània (Songs of the Mediterranean), which given the budget shortfalls, changes its musical orientation, format and setting.
