'Hija de la laguna'

Ernesto Cabellos Damian directs this documentary released in 2015 that was selected in the last edition of the Canadian international documentary festival Hot Docs. He has also received two awards from the Ministry of Culture of Perú.

Hija de la laguna  (Daughter of the lagoon) tells the story of Nelida a woman from the Andes who faces a mining company that threatens to destroy the lagoon that she considers as her mother. Under the lagoon is the largest gold deposit in South America.
