'Hexe'

Concha Vidal is the author, creator, director and one of the interpreters of Hexe, a theater piece in co-production with the Teatre Principal de Palma.

A witch burned during the Middle Ages is reincarnated as a 21st century woman who struggles to raise her voice against the mechanisms of repression in contemporary society, not so far removed from those of the Inquisition. This woman, through a deep immersion in her own biography, exorcises many other voices that are silenced, judged, punished and burned.

These three actresses transform into witches tonight to explain to us very loudly what the flames wanted to silence at the time. Portrayed by Concha Vidal, Lucia Sánchez and Joana Maria Peralta. Musical composition by Kiko Barrenengoa. Catalan language.
