Come to Mallorca, between punk and mainstream music, one of the main bands from the sound of Manchester and the legendary club of this city The Haçienda, where also groups like the Stone Roses, Charlatans or Northside used to act.
Established in 1981, six years later they released their first album with the long title of Squirred and G-Man Twenty Party People Plastic Face Tour Carnt Smile, produced by John Cale of The Velvet Underground. In the late eighties, the group had already achieved success impersonating the rave culture.
In 1988, they released their second album, Bummed exploiting house music, based on dance beats . But the culmination of their career comes to them in 1990 when the band released what specialized critics called a masterpiece, Pills 'n' thrills and Bellyaches.
The group disbanded in 1992 but returned in the late nineties with only part of its members. However, in the performance of Mallorca, we can see and hear the members of the original band composed by Paul Ryder, Gary Whelan, Mark Day, Paul Davis, Rowetta Satchell and Shaun Ryde, nicknamed Bez.
