Haochen Zhang

Despite his youth, the Chinese pianist is considered one of the biggest in recent times. His virtuosity and exceptional talent place him among the major pianists on the scene of today's classical music.

Last year he performed in Spain at  Conciertos Costa Blanca and now it is Euromúsica producciones that organizes this concert of Haochen Zhang (Shanghai, 1990) at the Auditorium de Palma, celebrating the 20th anniversary of this concert representation agency in Mallorca directed by Juan Martín-Montalvo, its founder.

The program at the Auditorium de Palma includes Piano Sonata in E flat major, by Janacek; Kreisleriana (8 Fantasies), Op 16, of Schumann.; Piano Sonata No. 26 in E flat major, of Beethoven; Two Poems, Op 69  and Two Poems, Op 32, by Scriabin; and Piano Sonata No. 1, Op. 22, by Ginastera.

The concert also has a solidarity aspect, as part of the proceeds will go to the NGO Mallorca Sense Fam.
