This Mallorcan band takes its name from the defunct bar Haddock, one of the most emblematic of the Plama night life. Their music is influenced by pop-rock groups such as New Order, The Cure or REM.
In 2009 they released a first demo with the title of Nihil Obstat, which won the award for Best Demo of the Balearic Islands that year. Now Haddock's Orphans presents its first album, Fishing Birds (2011), which they have published with their own record label Lucky Dan Records and which features the official presentation of the quartet.
It consists of Carlos Reus (vocals and guitar), Coque Piña (guitar), Juan Antonio Caballero 'M' (bass), Miguel Ferrer (drums) and Jesus Gonzalez Santos (keyboards).
