The second and final proposal of El Ciclo de Grandes Pianistas (the Cycle of Great Pianists) is Grigory Sokolov, considered one of the greatest living pianists. he interprets works of Mozart and Beethoven.
His short discography does not reflect the long and successful career of Grigory Sokolov (Leningrad, 1950), who prefers live performances to be able to give the best of himself.
