The Mallorcan formation La Granja is considered one of the best bands of Spanish pop-rock. In 1986, they released their first album with the group’s name, from which is extracted the hit single Sufro por ti (I suffer for you), edited by Palma City Council when they won the Pop-Rock Contest that year.
The islanders have a facility to compose catchy tunes without falling into doggerel rhythms. They have a great power in live performance and outstanding is the strength of their guitars.
With over 25 years on stage, seven albums on the market, a compilation and hundreds of concerts, the spirit of the band is still intact now with Carlos Garau (bass), Miquel Gibert (drums) and Kiko Riera (guitar).
