The IV Lyric week of Santanyi begins with the gala performed by six vocal soloists accompanied on piano by Yoan Hereau. They are: Maia Planas, Raquel Camarinha, Marta Valero, Pedro Calavia, Xavi Aguilar and Josep Ferrer.
They perform a repertoire consisting of famous arias, duets and trios of opera and operetta, with titles like Una furtiva lacrima, Lakmé, Toreador, No puede ser, Las carceleras or Cosí fan Tutte.
The Festival continues on the 29th and 31st of August with Don Giovanni, by WA Mozart.
