This cultural association, created in 2011, consists of 18 musicians and their repertoire ranges from swing and traditional jazz to more modern sounds like latin-jazz, funk and jazz-fusion. The Glissando Big Band is integrated by saxophones, trombones, trumpets, bass, piano, guitar and drums.
In this concert they will perform together with trombonist Linale Perico (Uruguay, 1944), who also develops facets of composer and arranger. In 2002 he formed the Palma Jazz Big Band, dedicated to jazz music with themes and arrangements of himself and of other composers.
