The composer and double bassist Giulia Valle is considered one of the most surprising creators of the national and international jazz scene. Shee heads one of the most prolific and personal musical proposals of modern jazz, the Giulia Valle Trio, which represents total freedom of expression and interaction between its three components.
Two great musicians are part of the project: the extraordinary Marco Mezquida, pianist of greatest national jazz projection, and David Xirgu on drums, one of the most innovative and creative musicians of the current scene with a very extensive discography as an accompanying musician.
They present Live in San Francisco (Discmedi, 2016), an album that shows the strength of a group that reinvents itself in each session.
