Jaume Rosselló, Joan Roca and Pep Aspas, students of classical and jazz at the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears, form the Geometrical Sardine trio, which has released its first album, Minialien (2022).
Seven original tracks with a very personal soundscape in which they explore new creative frontiers.
Unusual rhythmic patterns, difficult-to-accommodate melodies and harmonies, and a well-crafted sound that ranges from the sharpness of jazz to the distortions of progressive rock, are the hallmarks of Geometrical Sardine.
At the Can Corraca Viewpoint in the Deià Cemetery, they offer a program consisting of:
Minialien
Super overdrive
Cadena de muntatge
Garriga jungle
Donut patrol
Microbus
Buhi, Moixi i Tortu
Jimmy Gym
Cereal adventure
