First it was Marie Davidson and Pierre Guerineau, members of the duo Essaie Pas, who excited us with their room-filling and atmospheric sound. Now Can Monroig is visited by another representative of the Canadian indie scene, singer, songwriter, poet and multi-instrumentalist Geeta.
She has clear influences from Bjork or Patti Smith and a deep voice with a tragic hint, to which somewhat surreal imaginative lyrics are added. She combines voice, percussion and keyboards, with electronic sounds.
Geeta, born in Montreal, starts her European tour in Spain with her new EP Lightbulb, which she will only present in Barcelona, Berga and now in Mallorca in Can Monroig.
