December 1 marks the World Day of the Combat against AIDS, declared in 1988 at the request of the World Health Organization (WHO) in order to publicize the progress against this pandemic. In 2015 the theme is to reach zero.
The association of anti-AIDS struggle of the Balearics ALAS organizes this gala at the Teatre Xesc Forteza de Palma which will be presented by Vivian Caoba and David Gilabert. It will feature performances by Dani Garcia, Marian Lush and Mallorca Gay Men's Chorus.
On the event will be presented the ALAS 2015 award, which went to the team of Internal Medicine, of the University Hospital of Son Espases.
