Opening Gala of the Evolution Film Festival

This is the second edition of this international film festival held in Mallorca and, again, multiculturalism is the guiding theme throughout the four days. From November 7 to 10, films of various nationalities will be screened in original version with subtitles and will feature people who have participated in them, as actors, directors, producers, etc.

The Evolution Film Festival opens with the gala opening at the Teatre Principal de Palma - the other days the festival moves to CineCiutat-and the projection of the Brazilian film Xingu  by director Cao Hamburger. Presented at the San Sebastian Film Festival in 2012, it tells the story of the brothers Villas-Boas and the events that led to the creation of the Xingu National Park, the first Indian reservation in Brazil.
