Quartet of saxophonists formed by Joaquín Saez (soprano sax), Manuel Garcia (alto saxophone), Jose Manuel Bañuls (tenor sax) and Angel Soria(baritone sax). The formation was created in 2007 and has a very eclectic repertoire, from ethnic and folk music to jazz and contemporary music.
In this concert they will be accompanied by the viola of Rafal Zalech and they will interpret a program with works by Birke.J Berstelmeier, Camilo Mendez, Matthias Krüger and Georges Aperghis.
The concert is part of the 5th Mallorca Saxophone Festival, which takes place from March 22 to 27 in Palma.
