Res de Res is one of the pioneers of theater-circus of Spain. Since its inception it has focused its work on gesture-theater integrating specific circus techniques, thus enhancing their theatrical possibilities.
A unique proposal that has earned them recognition from critics and audiences and gain several awards, among others, to highlight their three nominations for the MAX Awards as revelation show with Mara (2003), Tempo (2005) and Maria? (2010) and a Total Theatre Award at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh 2012 for Remor.
Now it presents its latest production, Fuga, a co-production of the Teatre Principal de Palma, the Auditori d'Alcúdia - which hosted its preview takes place- and the Festival Grec of Barcelona, where it premiere the past July 9. It is a multidisciplinary show directed by Biel Jordà that vindicates the courage to confront our own limitations or the imposed ones and different repressions to which we are subjected.
Also is the continuation of the research by the company in the world of motion, maintaining its strong interest in circus skills but with a look into the world of dance.
