'Fuenteovejuna'

After the success of La casa de Bernarda Alba in 2009, the women's collective El Vacie now presents its new production, based on the famous work of Lope de Vega. With dramaturgy by Antonio Álamo and directed by Pepa Gamboa, Fuenteovejuna is a production of the theater research center TNT.

It is interpreted by David Montero and nine actresses of El Vacie, formed by agraphic women of the gypsy ethnic group of the shanty town El Vacie (Seville). They are: Rocío Montero Maya, Lole del Campo Díaz, Carina Ramírez Montero, Sandra Ramírez Montero, Ana Jiménez / Pilar Ramírez, Rocío Rivas Flores and Beatriz Ortega Chamorro.
