Floor 0 of the Fran Reus Gallery in Palma presents this individual exhibition by the Belgian artist Joachim Lambrechts, with a series of striking monochrome paintings that evoke the spontaneity and ingenuity of children.
Lambrechts never poses the compositions of his paintings, but rather lets the image form itself through a free creative process. If we get closer to the surface of the painting we can perceive the almost aggressive brushstroke and an accumulation of layers of paint that trap a solidified energy on the canvas.
