Frida, la xiqueta que volia pintar is a dance-theater creation written and directed by José Blasco. It tells the story of Magdalena, a girl who is sick in bed because of polio. She wants to be a doctor to heal boys and girls like her.
She is alone and creates an imaginary friend of hers, Frida, who will teach her to understand and love art. The montage includes audiovisuals and sounds that shape the world of Mexican artist Frida Khalo.
