Francisco Garcia Fullana (Palma, 1990) is a young virtuoso violinist with a brilliant career behind him. He debuted at age 9 as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and, at just 15, he dazzled audiences and critics in the concert of the Auditorio Nacional de Música de Madrid, where he played a 1713 Stradivarius that had belonged to Pablo de Sarasate.
After winning the 2006 National Prize for Violin 'Pablo de Sarasate', started his international projection and in 2012 he won the First Prize in the Atlantic Symphony Concerto Competition and the Special Audience Prize, in Boston.
In this concert, which opnes the IX Festival Pianino, he performs accompanied by pianist José Moner. The program includes works by Bach, Granados, Saint-Saëns, Manén and Cassadó i Moreu.
