Francesc Gaya (viola) and Elizabeth Felix (piano) offer a program consisting of three sonatas: Sonata Op 23 (Salvador Brotons), Sonata (Francisco Fleta-Polo) and Sonata Op 147 (D. Shostakovich).
In addition to being performers, both develop also a facet as a teacher, currently at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands, Francesc Gaya as associate professor of viola, and Elizabeth Felix as tenured professor.
The concert is part of the cycle Concerts of Teachers at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands 2013, organized by the teachers themselves in collaboration with the Conservatory, Alma Concerts and the International Music Festival Deia.
