Fran MM Cabeza de Vaca & María Salgado

Fran MM Cabeza de Vaca, musician and composer, and poet Maria Salgado present their latest two Works of research within the XXXVI Encuentro Internacional de Compositores (International Composers gathering), organized by the Foundation A.C.A.

Hacía un ruido  (It made a noise) is a hybrid recital started in 2014 and with which they have toured unconventional scenic spaces of Mostoles (Madrid), New York, Cordoba and Seville, and which they will close in December 2015. The work mixes different sound and verbal materials with which they relive the riots emerged in much of the world between 2011 and 2013.

The second work is Jinete último reino  (rider last kingdom), with which they continue exploring ways of disobedience by putting the focus on the subjective process of each person to liberate himself from governments. The work parts from the text of an action of the American conceptual artist Donald Burgy entitled  Inside-Outside Exchange # 1.
