Fires i Festes de Primavera 2016

They kick off on May 27 with the traditional output of los Cossiers, the three pairs of men dressed in white, with a brightly colored skirt and a belt from which hang ribbons and small pieces of mirrors, and la Dama. They are accompanied by the demon and music of xeremiers. At 20:30 opening speech, by Bartomeu Matamalas, and at night a big party with the Orquestina d'Algaida in large format, Valentin Mendoza, the components of Group 5 del este  and Els Javaloyas.

The program of activities is very wide and continues until 5 June. on Saturday 28 will stand out the parade of Collas castelleres , the Festa Manazoritzada (with the bracelet that becomes gifts and offers and the biggest poor-cake in history), display of colles castellers Al·lots de Llevant and Colla de Joves Xiquets de Valls, the Great Revetla de Fires i Festes with performances of Chevi's Band , La Loca Motora and guest artists, and the oncert of Renou Col·lectiu with Le Dancing Pepa Swing  Band, Lady Vinyl and Big Yu Yu Band.

The fair, which has an agricultural, livestock, industrial and artisanal character, takes place on Sunday 29. It covers many activities: open trade, fair of local entities, antique car shows, exhibition of new nights, machinery, attractions, exhibition old tools and flowers, animal exposure and activities, crafts and traditional fair and exhibitions of painting, photography and furniture from different artists of the region.

On Friday June 3 children and young people will become circus characters on the Grand Circ manacorí, there will be an event of Tapes i Gloses and a night tribes with the groups Ojos de Serpiente, tribute to Fito y Fittipaldi, QWueen 4ever and Cold Day .

On Saturday, 4 the XVI Trobada de Gegants  and XIII Wine tasting of DO Pla i Llevant and on Sunday 5th Fires i Festes of Spring of Manacor will end with a parade of floats. Consult the full program.
