During the outbreak of the Spanish civil war, Félix García Durán, a tailor by profession, was imprisoned for several years for belonging to the socialist party on the island of La Palma. Now, the young company La Sastrería from Palma is bringing this story to the stage with text by Carlos de León and direction by Rafael Rodríguez.
La historia del sastre (The story of the tailor) recounts all the confusion that was experienced during those days, the betrayals and the struggle of his wife and his eight children to continue with their lives after taking away all their belongings.
