Sergi Belbel directs the adaptation of this one-act drama for four characters written by the Irish playwright Samuel Beckett. Interpreted by Jordi Boixaderas, Jordi Bosch, Jordi Banacolocha and Margarida Minguillón.
Beckett dedicated Endgame to Roger Blin, the director who had released Waiting for Godot in Paris. The protagonists of it are Hamm, an old master who is blind and cannot stand, and his servant Clov, who cannot sit. They are confined to a room with two windows that connect them to a lifeless exterior.
The two characters, mutually dependent, have always gotten along badly, and this is seen throughout the work. Clov sometimes shows a remote intention to throw off his yoke, but he is never able to do so.
The other two characters that appear are Hamm's parents, who have no legs: Nagg and Nell; they live in two garbage cans that appear on stage. From time to time they order food and talk to each other. Recommended age: from 16 years old. Catalan language.
