The Iguana Teatre company produces this play with dramaturgy by Pere Fullana, Aina Salom and Carme Planells based on the life stories of some testimonies about being a xueta, thus called the descendants of a part of the Majorcan Jews who converted to Christianity.
Fils de vida is an emotional journey through the family memories of three characters marked by xueta stigma. The exclusion of converts in Mallorca is unique in the entire history of Judaism and has marked the social behavior of those who have lived under stigmatization for generations.
Directed by Pere Fullana, it is played by Marina Nicolau, Salvador Oliva and Irene Soler.
