Sant Sebastià Festivities 2026

Palma is starting to warm up for its major winter celebrations. The Sant Sebastià Festivities 2026, honoring the city’s patron saint, already have an official poster and a first preview of the calendar. The full program, including concerts, “tardeos” (afternoon music events), and traditional activities, will be announced in the coming weeks.

The official image of Sant Sebastià 2026 has been created by artist Belén Pez. Born in Toledo in 1984 and currently based in Mallorca, she is a multidisciplinary illustrator and creator who regularly collaborates with cultural institutions and public administrations.

With a background in visual arts, performing arts, and graphic design, her work combines different creative disciplines. Her poster will represent the Sant Sebastià festivities throughout the winter season in Palma.

Confirmed dates for Sant Sebastià 2026

Although the complete program has yet to be released, Palma City Council has already confirmed the key dates of the festivities:

• January 10: Pregonet – official opening of the celebrations

• January 11: Sant Sebastià Petit – activities for children and families

• January 16: Concert planned at Plaça d’Espanya

• January 17: Tardeos and live music events across the city

• January 19: Revetla de Sant Sebastià, one of the most anticipated nights

• January 24: Correfoc, the traditional fire run and official closing event

These dates will once again turn Palma into the winter festive capital of Mallorca, combining live music, cultural events, and popular traditions.

Music, tradition and city atmosphere

The Sant Sebastià festivities offer a diverse program for all audiences. Alongside concerts and afternoon music sessions, traditional events play a central role, especially the Revetla, with bonfires and street music, and the spectacular Correfoc, featuring fire, drums, and traditional figures moving through the historic center.
